This guide covers what to send when you ask for a quote and a catalogue, without inventing Brazilian tax documents or shipping times.
JRS Scaffoldings is presented on the site as a division of Eastman Industries Limited (Ludhiana, India). This article does not issue a certificate and does not replace your customs broker in Brazil.
Commercial information (required)
- Product / SKU (or a photo)
- Specification or drawing
- Quantity per line
- Finish, if the order requires one
- Destination in Brazil (port)
Without this there is no useful quote.
Documents: ask, do not assume
An RFQ can ask the manufacturer for the list of what travels with the shipment (invoice, packing list, and whatever else the contract requires). We do not publish a list of Brazilian import documents here: that depends on the NCM code, the customs regime and your broker. Ask:
- Which commercial documents does the manufacturer issue for this order?
- Does the packing list reference the lot? The site describes a lot number, month and year stamp and a hologram on the manufactured product.
- Packing: the site mentions steel pallets and poly wrap, wooden pallets for base jacks, and container stuffing at the factory. Confirm this for the SKUs in your order.
If a Brazilian tender requires a standard or a test, attach the page and ask what the factory can confirm in writing. Do not invent a test value or an MOQ.
