Questions to put on the RFQ
Quality / inspection The homepage describes stage checks, a self-certified inspection step, third-party inspection of raw material from the producer, and visual / dimensional / physical checks against a control plan, with an in-house lab that includes a universal testing machine. Ask:
- Which of those steps apply to this SKU?
- What written report can be issued for this lot?
- Do not invent a test value — if you need a number, it must come from your spec or from the factory’s written reply.
Traceability The homepage says order traceability is ensured by stamping lot number, month and year of manufacturing, and a hologram on manufactured product. Ask:
- Will this order carry lot stamp + hologram as described?
- How should the packing list reference that lot?
Packing The homepage says steel pallets and polyethylene wrapping are used to limit scratches and sea moisture; wooden pallets are used for base jacks; in-house container stuffing is mentioned. Ask:
- Confirm packing for the SKUs on this Oman order
- Any extra mark (destination, PO number) you need on the pallet
