Qatar scaffolding suppliers usually buy prop sleeves as spare parts for props already on hire — not as a new system. Fit and thread are the whole enquiry. This MOFU note tells you what to measure before you ask JRS Scaffoldings (Eastman Industries Limited) for a quote.
The Prop Sleeve with Nut category on jrsscaffold.com lists: prop sleeve; light duty prop sleeve; steel prop sleeve; steel scaffolding sleeve prop; heavy duty prop nut; scaffolding jack nut; and related prop lines (light / medium / heavy duty props appear on the wider site). Use the names that match what you hold in the yard.
Check fit first
A sleeve that does not run on the inner tube is scrap. Before you email:
- Measure the inner tube outer diameter the sleeve must slide on
- Measure the sleeve length you currently use
- Photograph the existing sleeve next to a tape
- Say light / medium / heavy if that is how you buy props today (those duty names appear on JRS prop listings)
Do not send “prop sleeve” as one line if light-duty and heavy-duty sleeves are mixed on the same Qatar contract.
Then check the nut and thread
The category is “Prop Sleeve with Nut”. Listings include heavy duty prop nut and jack nut. Send:
- Whether the nut is supplied with the sleeve or as a spare nut only
- Thread that matches your prop (if you do not have a designation, send a clear photo of the nut face and the stem)
- Quantity of sleeve+nut sets versus loose nuts
If the contractor also wants a new inner or outer prop, that is a different SKU (adjustable steel props are listed elsewhere on the site). Keep this RFQ on sleeves and nuts unless you intentionally add complete props.
